Opening Prayer and Silence
Open in prayer and then sit together in three minutes of silence to shift focus toward this time of seeking God and practicing the way of Jesus in community.

Where Are We?
Wrapping up the year, we are in a season of reflection as a church. Where has God been? What has He been doing this past year? In what ways are we also longing for more? This also a time to reflect as a community group—to take inventory, celebrate, and dream.

Following our All Church Survey at Sunday’s gatherings, we’d like to invite you to take a few minutes with this Reality SF Community Group Survey. This special CG survey is serving two purposes: first, to provide feedback to our church leadership in how to better shepherd and serve; and second, to help you reflect on your group experience for a larger reflection discussion that will follow below.

Each individual group member can take the Reality SF CG Survey here.

After completing the survey, consider what you want your CG to know about how you’ve experienced the group.

Group Reflection
“Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.” – Romans 14:19

Split into pairs and discuss for 10 minutes:

  • What most surprised you while doing the survey reflection?
  • What have been your best experience and worst experience in group in the last year?

Then as a whole group, provide one minute per group member to share about how they have experienced the group. After every person has shared, have this discussion:

  • What themes and trends did we notice in what our group shared?
  • In light of this, what would it look like for us to “make every effort to move toward peace and mutual edification”?
  • How is your group in need of help from God and one another?
