Why we give
As Christians, we give because of the grace and generosity which God has given us. We are not under compulsion to give; rather, we should offer cheerfully what God has placed on our hearts with grace (2 Corinthians 9:7). This “grace giving” is described as being generous, willing, God-directed, shared, active, and love-motivated (2 Corinthians 8:2-8). We consider this an aspect of worship to the Lord and we receive these offerings as a part of our Sunday gatherings.
You can also give digitally via desktop or through our Reality San Francisco App (Apple|Android). As an additional act of generosity, you can make your Amazon purchases through AmazonSmile and set Reality SF as your default charity here.
Reality SF seeks to be above reproach in its income and distribution of funds. We maintain an open book policy and, though we are not yet members, we strive to meet the standards of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). To see examples of how we manage and distribute resources, you can view our 2018 Midyear Update (as well as the 2017 Year in Review).
We frequently read a Generosity Prayer together on Sunday mornings before our time of giving.
