Why we give

As Christians, we give because of the grace and generosity which God has given us. We are not under compulsion to give; rather, we should offer cheerfully what God has placed on our hearts with grace (2 Corinthians 9:7). This “grace giving” is described as being generous, willing, God-directed, shared, active, and love-motivated (2 Corinthians 8:2-8). We consider this an aspect of worship to the Lord and we receive these offerings as a part of our Sunday gatherings and also digitally via desktop and our Reality San Francisco App (Apple|Android). As an additional act of generosity, you can make your Amazon purchases through AmazonSmile and set Reality SF as your default charity here.

Reality SF seeks to be above reproach in its income and distribution of funds. We maintain an open book policy and, though we are not yet members, we strive to meet the standards of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

We frequently read a Generosity Prayer together on Sunday mornings before our time of giving.

Our 2016 Annual Vision & Prayer Report from January 2016 shares our vision for extending our resources this year. You can watch the video from Annual Vision & Prayer Night here. In August 2016, we released our 2016 Midyear Update Report to revisit the five key initiatives that we introduced at Annual Vision & Prayer, along with an overview of our finances to date.
