Caihla Petiprin, Athletes In Action

God first called Caihla to the Bay Area, and more specifically to UC Berkeley, her sophomore year of college while she was still a student-athlete at Cal Poly, SLO.

She found her own relationship with Jesus in SLO, but God had plans to stretch and mold her to further His Kingdom in the Bay. For the next two and a half years, Caihla grew deeper in her relationship with God through an organization within Cru known as Athletes In Action, and she discovered a passion for discipling women in Cal Athletics and the Cal Greek system. She also found her calling in social justice in her major (Public Health) and living out the Gospel through both local and global community service.

Some of the roles Caihla plays on AIA staff are serving as her former volleyball team’s chaplain, leading the Delta Gamma Bible study, discipling women, and making community service a staple of Athletes in Action at Cal through local and global involvement and missions.
