Chops Ezung, YWAM San Francisco

Chopathung, or Chops, is originally from the Northeast part of India called Nagaland. He has been in missions with YWAM for 9 years, and has specifically been serving with YWAM San Francisco since 2012.

At a drop-in center in the Tenderloin, Chops ministers to people facing homelessness, drug addiction, and mental illness through sharing the Gospel and also providing free haircuts. He has given over 2,500 free haircuts to people, empowering many to find employment, enter rehab, and secure housing.

You can connect with Chops by emailing him. And if you’d like to financially support his ministry, visit ywamsanfrancisco.org/give, select your payment method, and denote “Chopathung (Chops) Ezung” for the donation.
