Ruthie Kim, Because Justice Matters
Ruthie Kim has been working in San Francisco’s inner city Tenderloin district as part of YWAM since 1999.

Ruthie has broad experience working with women facing sexual exploitation, domestic violence, drug addiction, and chronic homelessness. She founded Because Justice Matters in 2008, with a focus on reaching some of San Francisco’s most needy populations of women through outreach and spiritual support services. She continues to serve as BJM’s Executive Director, while also regularly teaching on Sundays at Reality SF (her teachings here.)
Ruthie is married to Brian, and they have two boys. They love SF and are deeply committed to raising their family here.
