12.16.20 | The Global Church
In today’s BREAD reading, Revelation 8:8 references “the prayers of all God’s people.” Let’s use this week’s time to focus on God’s Church, His global community of believers.
Today, open yourself up to the Spirit’s prompting, and allow God to bring to mind a specific portion or region of the global church. Lift them up in prayer and intercede for them.
Start with churches and ministries in our city. Ask God to bring to mind specific churches, organizations, or people; pray for them by name. Second, think about churches and ministries around our country and world. Ask God to bring to mind specific churches, organizations, or people; pray for them. Lastly, ask God to bring to mind specific brothers and sisters; take time to pray for them, then reach out and bless them with words of intercession and encouragement.
