We invite the whole church, once a month, to come pray for our city, community and church at the Swedish American Hall from 8pm-9pm. Doors will open at 7:30 to mingle with refreshments. Come join us as we worship Jesus and pray for our city and community.
The next scheduled prayer meetings are:
Also, join us for pre-service prayer every Sunday as we ask God to work mightily in the hearts and lives of the people in attendance. We meet at 8:15am and 4:20pm at the Swedish American Hall. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate.
The prayer team is available during the musical worship portion of our services, immediately following the message. You can find them standing to the right and the left of the stage, by the lamps. They are not there to provide counsel, but to direct your attention to Jesus and pray with you regarding any needs that you may have.
Your local community group is also your local prayer meeting. Every group spends a portion of time in both corporate prayer for that neighborhood and prayer in smaller groups for one another James 5:16. To find your local community group, please click here.
Through the act of corporate and private prayer we are submitting ourselves, our opinions, and our ideas to Jesus, the Head of the Church, and asking Him to show us the way we should go and adoring Him in the process.
“The condition of the church may be very accurately gauged by its prayer meetings. So is the prayer meeting a grace-ometer, and from it we may judge the amount of divine working among a people. If God be near a church, it must pray. And if he be not there, one of the first tokens of his absence will be slothfulness in prayer.”
-Charles Spurgeon
