11.03.21 | Light of Life
In today’s BREAD reading from the Gospel of John chapter 8, Jesus says:
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
During today’s time of fasting and prayer, we will focus on what it means to walk in darkness, and to have the light of life.
Spend time throughout your day asking Jesus to reveal places of darkness in your own life, or in spaces around you (i.e. your neighborhood, city, work, our nation).
Ask God what He wants you to know about these dark places, and how He wants to bring His light of life to them. Pay specific attention to how He might be activating or asking you to be a carrier of light into those dark places – write these observations down.
As always, we encourage you to share what you are learning or hearing with a fellow brother or sister in Christ.
