11.11.20 | Cleansing Our Consciences
Today’s BREAD reading from Hebrews 9 says that the blood of Christ, who was offered as a sacrifice, unblemished to God, cleanses our consciences from acts that lead to death (verse 14).
In your fasting and prayer time today, invite God to show you some of the things He wants to cleanse you from. After some time in silence, journal about what comes up.
Then use the rest of your time to focus on the last part of verse 14: “so that we may serve the living God.” Ask God to show you how He might want you to serve him.
