12.30.20 | Looking Back, Looking Forward
“Look, I am coming soon!” (Revelation 22:12)
As the year comes to a close, we are reminded in our BREAD reading that Jesus is coming back soon. Allow today’s time of fasting and prayer to lead you into God’s presence, and allow Him to guide you towards a time of self reflection.
Ask God if there was anything that happened this year between you and Him that you need to repent of? Was there anything that you have done to a brother or sister, or anyone else in your life, that needs to be addressed? Is there anything that He wants to transform in you in this upcoming year?
If the Spirit reveals anything to you, follow through on His request: reach out to those people who have been brought to mind, repent before God of the things He is asking you to repent of, and it’s transformation God is desiring from you, ask Him to show you how to partner with Him in it.
