Joe Metz

Facilities Director

Born and raised in San Francisco, Joe moved to Pacifica in his early teenage years. He first became introduced to Jesus and the church through a neighbor, and accepted Christ as Lord and Savior in 1994.

Joe attended Skyline College in San Bruno, where he studied general education and psychology. He was previously an Ironworker for 35 years, helping to build much of SF’s current skyline during that time. Around 2018, Joe felt a calling to vocational ministry after volunteering in his previous church for many years, helping maintain their facilities. He then served on staff for two years at Northgate Christian Fellowship, prior to joining Reality SF. 

Believing that the smallest things can still make a major impact for God’s Kingdom, as Facilities Director, Joe is passionate about ensuring that our building is always operational for everyone to use and enjoy. He spends much of his time project managing, maintaining, and making improvements all over our facility.

In his spare time, Joe loves building things, watching (or talking about) the 49ers and Giants, and welcoming others into his backyard!
