Jackson Jaramillo

Youth Pastor

Born and raised in Riverside, CA, Jackson was immersed in the church from a young age. He made the personal decision to follow Jesus in 5th grade in a moment when Jackson first truly felt the impact of Jesus’ love and knew he was ready to devote his life to Him.

Jackson first felt called to ministry in high school, during a time when he was considering college and the future. Realizing that his heart was most passionate about serving the church, he left his school’s baseball team and began leading worship at his youth group. Although Jackson initially believed God was calling him to be a worship leader, he discerned a deeper call to pastoral ministry during his freshman year at California Baptist University, where he studied theology and interned with the youth ministry at the church he grew up at.

Before joining Reality, Jackson served as the Middle School Pastor at his home church for four years. He and his wife, Cameron, were drawn to San Francisco through the opportunity to serve at Reality. As they discerned the move, God opened their hearts to the beauty of the city and the transformative work He is doing here.

As the Youth Pastor at Reality, Jackson is dedicated to shepherding students and guiding them in their discipleship to Jesus. He spends much of his time creating environments where youth can encounter Jesus and be formed in His ways. Jackson and Cameron are both passionate about investing in the young people of SF, and to see the renewal of the city through the transformed and Christ-centered lives of the next generation.

In his free time, Jackson enjoys golfing, attending baseball games, and discovering new restaurants with Cameron.
