Jason Swanson

Operations Director

Raised in Morgan Hill, CA, Jason was exposed to Christianity throughout his life. However, it wasn’t until he began attending YoungLife in high school that he truly embraced his relationship with Jesus.

In 2012, Jason moved to San Francisco to attend SF State University, where he pursued a degree in parks and recreation. It was during his final weeks before graduation that he stumbled upon a job posting at Reality SF for a volunteer coordinator role. Since then, Jason has faithfully served on staff at Reality in various roles, and his love for the community and mission of making disciples and seeking renewal in the city has only deepened.

As Operations Director, Jason utilizes his skills and expertise in pathway architecture, coaching, quality assurance, and resource management to establish efficient systems and processes that enable church ministry to flourish.

Beyond work, Jason and his wife Sarah are passionate about their role as active foster parents, and share a deep commitment to supporting families in their city and providing refuge for those who don’t have a safe place to call home.

Jason also loves the Denver Broncos and the unique challenge of traveling with his family of five. He and Sarah live in the Sunset District with their two sons, Maverick and Hayden, and foster child.
