Jeremy & Christa Kastle

Missionaries, Northern Ireland

Jeremy and Christa Kastle, from California’s South Bay Area, have been actively serving in global missions since 2014. After years of prayerful discernment, they have accepted an invitation to relocate their family to Northern Ireland to join the gospel movement on the island through two ministry channels: St Donard’s Community Church and EdenGate Travel.

St Donard’s Community Church, an evangelical Anglican church plant approaching its 5th anniversary, meets in a historic 138-year-old building with a fresh vision: connecting people to Jesus. Rooted in the authority of God’s Word, the church focuses on outreach, discipleship, care, and worship. The Kastles have been warmly invited to become members and partners in this mission.

At St Donard’s, Jeremy will support the church’s developing young adult ministry and lend his IT expertise to help build essential systems that strengthen the church’s operations and outreach. Christa, with her love for children and creative gifting in photography and visual media, will serve young families and help amplify the church’s message through enhanced media communication. Together, they will also be intentional in discipling other young families within the church community.

In addition to their work at St Donard’s, the Kastles will serve with EdenGate Travel, a business-as-mission initiative under Patrons International. EdenGate blends tourism with gospel mission to raise awareness, facilitate church planting, and provide pastoral care throughout Ireland, the UK, and Europe. Jeremy and Christa will bring their skills in technology, customer care, event coordination, and media to strengthen EdenGate’s operations and impact.

With less than 2% of the Republic of Ireland identifying as evangelical, and Northern Ireland serving as a gospel outpost amid a post-Christian culture, the Kastles are stepping into a region of both deep need and great opportunity. Through partnership with a local church and a strategic mission organization, their family aims to serve Christ’s bride, support pastors and church leaders, and help spark revival in a spiritually dry land.

Additional Information
Beneath Ireland’s rich history, natural beauty, and legendary hospitality lies a sobering reality: the Republic of Ireland is the least-reached English-speaking country in the world, with fewer than 2% of people identifying as evangelical believers. While churches dot the landscape, many stand empty—symbols of a once-vibrant faith now faded by secularism and cultural religion.

The Kastles believe the gospel has the power to transform lives and communities. They are answering God’s call to step into a spiritually dry land and carry the good news, seeking to engage hearts and strengthen the church.

If you would like to support the Kastles’ mission further, here are several meaningful ways:

The Kastles are passionate that this move is more than a relocation—it is a call to proclaim hope in Christ and participate in the gospel movement, rekindling light in spiritually dark places.
