Margaret Hong

Executive Assistant

Born in Colorado, Margaret grew up across Kansas and Georgia. At a young age, she was introduced to Jesus and the church through her parents, coming to faith after recognizing the reality of Christ’s love for herself.

Margaret attended the University of Georgia, and has spent much of her professional life as an executive assistant and e-commerce retail business owner. She felt a strong pull toward the Bay Area after exploring California in 2015 and has grown to love San Francisco and the community she has found here.

When she began her most recent job search, Margaret was reminded of a desire to serve in ministry that first emerged years earlier, and was reawakened through unexpected conversations. Margaret saw the opportunity to step into vocational ministry as an invitation to continue deepening her trust in God in this next season.

As Executive Assistant, Margaret supports Dave Lomas by stewarding his schedule, helping ensure that his time and energy are being directed toward the most important priorities. She also partners closely with Mike Gleim to help advance team-wide initiatives and foster clear communication.

Outside of work, Margaret is passionate about creating warm, meaningful spaces where people can gather. She also enjoys unhurried walks, hikes, and road trips, and loves reading after sundown.
